PATRICK RONAYNE CLEBURNE
"Stonewall of the West"

Born in County Cork, Ireland on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1828. Emigrated to America in 1849 and settled in Helena, Arkansas.
Began leading a division in the Western Army on Dec. 13, 1862. Thanked by the Conf. Congress for action at Ringgold Gap, GA. Killed in a charge at the Battle of Franklin, TN on Nov 30, 1864. Thrice buried, finally put to rest by his fiancee in Helena, Arkansas.
