Hello friend I’m a painter of those haunting American faces and places of a by-gone era. I work in oil paint on canvas and use old photos as a guide. Some of the larger ones like the one above took months to complete. My interest in historical subjects started a decade ago with the release of the brilliant Ken Burns series - The Civil War.
